How To Use
- Wet your hair and the stone
- Massage your head with the stone, covering your entire scalp
- Rub into a full lather
- Leave in for 2 minutes to maximize the benefits of the extracts
- Rinse thoroughly
- Repeat as needed
- Wet the stone with warm water to activate the butters - soak for up to 1 minute during first use
- Rub the flat side of the stone on your palm to create a thin, filmy coat
- Rub your hands together and work the conditioner through your hair, from the middle to ends
- Leave in for 2 minutes to maximize the benefits of the extracts
- Rinse thoroughly

First of all, I love that this is a more local company for me. I live in Newport OR, so it’s nice to be able to order from a Portland based company. Second of all, these bars are FANTASTIC. The shampoo lathers easily and leaves my hair clean but not stripped. It doesn’t seem to leave any residue behind either. My scalp also feels very soothed after using. For the conditioner, I prefer to directly swipe it across my hair. This deposits a good amount very quickly. I have wavy hair that needs a lot of moisture, so this method works the best for me. Rubbing the bar in your hands and then applying to your hair will give you less product. The bar glides across my hair easily with no tugging or pulling. Genuinely love the quality of these bars and the results I get from them. As someone with fragrance allergies and a very sensitive scalp, I appreciate the holistically healing ingredients and the lack of fragrance. The sensitive hair oil is also amazing. Do try all three products…you won’t regret it.
I love that there is an essential oil free option!! The conditioner is so creamy and smooth and the shampoo has just the right amount of suds. I love to use this on my toddler! Keeps her curls smooth and soft :)
I have a tough scalp/hair combo - psoriasis on my scalp and a bushel of dry, curly hair. This combo makes finding a shampoo/conditioner tricky as I need something to treat my scalp without overly drying out my already parched hair. I've been using a tar-based shampoo as treatment for... decades and so I was healthily skeptical that something else was going to keep the itch at bay while also keep my scalp/hair clean. I've been using Conscia for a few weeks and I love that I can really concentrate the shampoo portion of my routine to my scalp and I don't have any itch to speak of! The conditioner bar provides enough moisture that I'm not battling tangles and frizz and it doesn't gunk-up my scalp. Thus far I'm super happy with this combo and cannot wait to see how they work in the sweatier summer months.
